Book Tag Vlog with Ivy Rose

Huge shout out to my brother for posting on Saturday without blowing up my blog! Today I'm bringing you a vlog I filmed with Ivy Rose while I was at her house.

Thanks to Victoria Minks for tagging me for this on YouTube. (You can watch her video here.) I decided the questions were hard enough for me to answer alongside Ivy and it worked out perfectly! They were fun to answer and provided a good distraction from how tired we were.

Thank you guys for watching! I had a ton of fun with Ivy, and visiting her may have to become a tradition ;) Watch for the huge writing conference, picture-filled post coming your way on Saturday!!

And can I just say the video's thumbnail is SUCH an accurate representation of us??? You smiling like a normal human being and me looking as if I'm plotting against someone. XD

I'm so glad we did this together! It was awesome and I can't wait for next time!!!

    1. Gosh, I'm glad it's not just me XD I got home and crashed, but literally wanted to look up plane tickets again XDD I had SO much fun!! Not just with all the adventuring and conferencing. Even just laying around on all the couches at your house was awesome. Although your siblings probably wondered what was wrong with us XD Needless to say, I'd LOVE to come back some time!! And of course you're welcome to visit me, too ;)

Ahaha, I look so underwhelmed, though xP I'm just glad there was a decent thumbnail that was semi-flattering for both of us. I don't usually have such luck XD

Yes, there will have to be a next time!!!! ^.^

  4. Hi Abigayle!
What a fun vlog to watch! I enjoyed listening to your all's answers to those hard questions. :) I'm so glad you and Ivy were able to meet up and go to the conference together. I would love to go sometime. Do you know if it is at the same time every year? We're there any blogger writers there that you know?

    Have a wonderful day!
    Love,
    Ashley

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Weren't they hard?! I'm not sure I would have ever made it through all of them without Ivy. We kept each other on track I think xP

Me too :) It was so much fun. Yay!! You should totally come. There's an under 23 discount if that applies to you. And I'm pretty sure it's always mid-week, mid-August. It was an opening evening session, two full days, and then a half day. That appears to be what they're doing again for next year. And it will be happening at the same hotel in Portland as well. This is the link to their website: oregonchristianwriters.org I'm guessing I won't go next year, seeing as how the speakers don't appeal to me all that much? But I would really like to go again at some point! And of course meeting you would be fantastic! :)

No, other than Ivy and Emily and Megan Wilcox ... there weren't really any other people our age. But Traci Hilton, Melanie Dobson, Jill Williamson, James Rubart, and Jeff Gerke were all there. They were names I knew from the publishing world, so it was fun to meet them :) And lots of the new people I met, like April McGowan and Tessa Afshar, were completely terrific!
